5-day love it or swap it requirements

• You MUST qualify for the necessary financing on the replacement vehicle.
• The full amount of the original purchase price will be applied towards the new vehicle with no cash back.
• The deal structure must stay the same.
• If a trade was a part of the first purchase, the value of the trade will be moved to the second purchase.
• Exchange must be completed at the dealership.
• You must make an appointment so we can provide the adequate time to assist you.
• The vehicle must have no more than 500 miles added from time of purchase and be in the same condition as when sold. Requests to exchange MUST be completed in writing to our Guest Services. [email protected].
• The time of exchange must happen within five business days of purchase. There is NO cash value and a limit of one exchange per customer per year.

All vehicles that are 10 years old or older and/or have over 100,000 miles will be sold “AS-IS” with no exceptions.

Vehicle Inspection

Any vehicle returned under the 5-Day/500-Mile Vehicle Exchange Program will be inspected by the dealer for damage and excessive wear and tear. If non-warranty repairs equal to or greater than $500 have been performed or are necessary as a result of the customer’s use of the vehicle, the vehicle is not eligible to be returned. If less than $500, the damage repair estimate will be deducted from the credit amount.

Original Trade-In Vehicle

If the customer trades in her/his current vehicle as part of the used vehicle purchase transaction, the trade-in instantly becomes inventory of Clement Auto Group, and will not be exchanged back to the customer.

Additional Credit Approval Required

Due to the lender’s approval stipulations, an approval on one vehicle does not guarantee an approval on a different vehicle. If the customer elects to do the exchange, an additional credit approval is required. Approval and terms are subject to the consumer’s credit rating, loan to value ratio, debt to income ratio, vehicle condition, and the structure of the original deal with the lender who approved the original loan. Exchanges can only be done if there is a new approval for the customer.

Exclusions

• Vehicles over 10 years/100,000 miles
• If a customer is unable to be financed on a different vehicle
• Vehicles that have had non-factory aftermarket accessories installed
• Branded titles (e.g., salvage, rebuilt, junk, or flooded history)
• Eligible once on original purchase

Miscellaneous

• *The physical exchange must be completed on, or before 5 days of the purchase date. Notification of the intention of doing an exchange before 5 days does not qualify for the exchange. The vehicle must be exchanged in person within the 5 day/500 mile exchange period.
• *Original purchaser must present the vehicle in person to Clement Auto Group for exchange within the 5 day period.
• *Not transferable. Must be original purchaser.

Price match guarantee

“Special Financing does not apply: Special Finance disqualifies purchases from being eligible for the 30 Day Price Match Guarantee.”

Advertisement must be online

Only online advertisements are eligible for the Price Match Guarantee. For example, verbal, handwritten, newspaper, radio, paper, and mail advertisements will not be accepted.

Geographic limitation

The lower-priced vehicle must be available for sale from a dealer within a 100-mile radius from the Clement Auto Group dealership where you purchased your vehicle.

Purchase must be completed

In order to be eligible for a Price Match Guarantee claim, you must have completed your vehicle purchase at Clement Auto Group at the time of the claim, signed all necessary paperwork, and paid all money due to Clement Auto Group at the time of submitting the claim.

Special Financing does not apply

New vehicles, fleet, and leases are not eligible

Only used vehicle purchases are eligible for the Price Match Guarantee. Leased vehicles are not eligible. Excludes former fleet or rental vehicles. Vehicles over 100,000 miles or older than 10 years are not eligible.

Must be “Apples to Apples” Comparison

The Price Match Guarantee is available only for vehicles of the same year, make, model, and trim that contain the same options, packages, and after-market equipment. The vehicle’s mileage must be within 5000 miles of the odometer reading on the vehicle you purchased at Clement Auto Group, as reflected on your Retail Installment Sales Contract. An advertised vehicle that contains negative prior history different from the vehicle you purchased at Clement Auto Group will not be eligible for the Price Match Guarantee. This includes, but is not limited to, prior accidents, frame damage, branded titles (e.g., salvage, junk, or flooded history), rental use, lease use, rideshare use, taxi use, reported stolen, lemon-law buybacks, and gross-polluters.

Vehicle must be offered for sale by licensed dealer

To qualify for the Price Match Guarantee, the advertisement reflecting the lower-priced vehicle must be from a motor vehicle dealer licensed by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Upon submission of the advertisement, Clement Auto Group will reject any advertisement that fails to meet this requirement.

Advertisements must be unexpired and valid

Only unexpired and valid advertisements are eligible for the Price Match Guarantee. At the time of submission, the advertisement must still be posted on the competing dealer’s website and the vehicle must still be available for sale.

Verification of Claims

All requests and advertisements submitted in connection with the Price Match Guarantee are subject to verification by Clement Auto Group. Clement Auto Group will not accept screenshots or other purported evidence of a lower price that cannot be independently confirmed by Clement Auto Group personnel. Clement Auto Group will not accept any advertisement that it believes, in its sole discretion, is the result of a printing or other error or is made fraudulently, deceptively, or in bad faith.

Changes

The terms that are in effect at the time of your vehicle purchase will determine your eligibility under the Price Match Guarantee. However, Clement Auto Group reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify or discontinue the Price Match Guarantee or to restrict its availability without prior notice. The failure by Clement Auto Group to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

Clement Auto Group reserves the right to void the 30-day Price Match Guarantee at any time.
